A huge thank you to everyone who supported the 12th annual JDRF Fore the Cure Golf Tournament at Ewa Beach Golf Course on April 17th. This year we raised over $81,000 with close to $680,000 raised to date in the 12 years of the event.
As many of you know the tournament is more than just another fundraiser to the JDRF volunteer golf committee and supporters. Fore the Cure is a personal effort because all know someone touched by type 1 diabetes and dedicate their time, talents and financial support for not only the families they know but the nearly 5,000 children and adults throughout Hawaii who live every day with the risks of a life-threatening complications or death from an auto-immune disease that has no cure...all of the work is personal and with passion.
Mahalo for joining us on our journey to fund a cure and look forward to seeing all of you next year! More pictures to be posted on our Facebook page JDRFHawaii.

JDRF is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research and our goal is to progressively remove the impact of T1D from people’s lives until we achieve a world without T1D. JDRF collaborates with a wide spectrum of partners and is the only organization with the scientific resources, regulatory influence, and a working plan to better treat, prevent, and eventually cure T1D.
